Every 144 years, a human child is taken into the fairy boarding school Rosentau. Amanda was chosen because she is exceptionally kind-hearted. Still, she will only be allowed to stay in this magical world if she does well during the trial period. When a unicorn escapes from the school stables because of a mistake Amanda made, it looks as though she will have to go back to her old school. In the end everything turns out well, and Amanda is allowed to remain at the fairy boarding school.
The Author
Thilo is a successful screenwriter and has a wide range of German favorites to his credit. During the past few years, he has increasingly gained recognition as a children's book author and has been published by several well-known publishing houses. Thilo currently lives in Mainz with his wife and four children.
